Remember when Crowley thought Aziraphale died at the bookshop in s1, and became blind drunk and depressed? You just know this is gonna happen in s3, but tenfold. He’s gonna have a huge breakdown and throw a tantrum and drink himself stupid, because the one constant in his life has left him.
100% this. And then… he’s going to RAGE!
Drive the Bentley right down to hell and take over the whole goddamn place. Satan will be like ‘hey sibling good to see ya yeah do what you like with the place it went to shit anyway after Beelzebub left!’
Then Crowley is going to WAR!
Because if he can’t have his Angel there’s no way that heaven can
Meanwhile Aziraphael is working away with his little act, undermining the Second Coming and finding all the little weaknesses
And there will be a battle. A massive celestial combat. The Great War Round 2. And they will meet on the battle field and they will scream and they will fight and they will hate each other because they’re still hurting. And then Crowley will reveal his power in all its demonic angelic glory. And Aziraphael will be humbled after being so proud. (This will quickly transform into pride in his Dearest rather than himself)
And there’ll be shenanigans. They’ll figure out a plan somehow probably in some alternate plane or some coded message bullshit that Neil will be giggling about while we’re all none the wiser.
And then they’ll destroy the Metatron and revolutionise heaven and hell and live happily ever after with no more Armageddons.
And Aziraphael won’t ever ask his Demon to be second in command again. Horizontal democracy baby!!
God and Satan will be perfectly happy will this because they’ll actually have a competant couple in charge and they can just continue their own ineffable fun (probably running a a D&D table)
